Pals Blog Hop September 2018

Welcome to the Pals September, 2018 Blog Hop. The 2018 Holiday Catalog from Stampin’ Up! Is out and the Pals are excited! Sit back while we share creations from “Our Favorite Holiday”.

You may be starting the hop here or coming from a previous Pal’s blog. Either way, you’ve come to the right place. You’ll find the the full line-up below to help you move, or “hop” along from Pal to Pal.

I wanted to show you some things from the
Holiday Catalog,
so I chose to do a Christmas Card.

Found on page 13 of the 2018 Holiday Catalog or Online.

I used several elements from the Farmhouse Christmas Bundle,
page 13 of the Holiday Catalog.
Festive Farmhouse Designer Series Paper
5/8 Striped Burlap Trim
Festive Farmhouse Cardstock Pack
Shaded Spruce Blends

Farmhouse Framelit Dies
I also used items available all the time in the Annual Catalog.
Layering Oval Framelits
Whisper White Thick Cardstock
Crumb Cake Cardstock
Cherry Cobbler Blends
Basic Rhinestone Jewels

Tuxedo Black Memento Ink Pad

I layered Cardstock and Designer Series paper, because I love a card with layers!  I added the ribbon element behind the main image, fringing the edges a bit. The truck was cut out with the Farmhouse Framelit Dies and attached to the layering ovals with dimensionals to give it a little 'pop'. I also colored a teeny bit of snow on the tree with a white gel pen.

Finally.....because every card needs some bling,
I placed the smallest Basic Rhinestone Jewels onto the headlights!
Now it’s time to use the Blog Hop Line-up below to see what the rest of my Pals have created to inspire you.. Don’t forget to show us some love by commenting on our creations.

Mark your calendars for Wednesday, October 10, 2018 for the next Pals Blog Hop. October is time for some wicked fun with “Wicked Folds” where the Pals will show you creations that are anything but a standard card fold. Don’t miss the fun.
